Man i knew i was gonna get something very acurate and beautiful but you gotta have it in your hands to realize how great the brass inserts really are, thanks to John Watkins for his awesome workmanship and probably Mrs Elizabeth for the packaging, the fret press caul i also received is just WOW WOW AND REWOW!!!!!

My shop is getting better by the minute!

I'm heading down my shop to make a beautiful aromatized red cedar box for my wonderful set! Will post pics later

Man, i'm so happy!

Thanks John

Serge

Yup, I got the caul the other day and it is ART!

I found a great deal on a 1 ton arbor press, drilled two holes, tapped one and I have the set-up like in the Stew-mac catelogue, except with John's bits which offer way more radii and a fabulous caul!

Thanks John!

Shane

Yes Paul, the fret caul was made also by John, like Shane said, true art masterpiece!

I didn't see this until just now. Thank you all for the kind words. I'm glad you're enjoying them.

There is a lot more of this kind of thing on the near horizon....John Watkins38798.7836458333

Have ya got any hints for us there John ? Or is it too secretive and you wouldn't want competition to be lurking your great ideas?!
